A.I.N.V.S.A (T.P.MANI) 's OUTRAGE : CLARIFICATIONS SEEKED from CEC MEMBERS

Ref. AINVSA/CEC/2012/187                                                                           Date 30/09/2012

J.K. Singh
General Secretary, AINVSA
JNV, Garhbanaili, Purnea
Bihar – 854325.

Dear Sri J K Singh & Sri Arun Kumar Gaur,

This has reference to the JAC Meeting held on 17th October, 2012. We had discussed at the CEC meeting held at Sri Radhakrishna Mandir, New Delhi about the unfortunate withdrawal of the indefinite strike proposed to commence from 1st February 2010. During our discussion Sri Rajan K M, Publication Sec, had demanded the revelation of the entire episode that lead to the withdrawal of the strike. It was because the Gen Secretary and Working President Sri Arun Kumar Gaur did not release a communiqué explaining the developments which the whole staff community had the right to know. The cause was kept in secret till then

Up on this, Sri Gaur had explained that it was Sri. L B Reddy who made the spade work for the withdrawal by creating panic in the JAC. Others simply knuckled under the pressure Sri K M Rajan had also requested the President of Principal Forum to reveal the matter. But till now such a thing never happened.

But it is quite unfortunate that till this time the real development that lead to the unconditional withdrawal was not revealed. As a service Association we must be ashamed of this failure. We had not sought information from the Commissioner NVS or the Under Secretary of Govt. Of India about the progress of the pension issue after 15 days. We did not either issue a notice threatening to re-launch our agitation For the RTIs we did not satisfactory answers. We should not be Carrie away by the deceptive words of our officers.

We had also decided in the CEC that since JAC could not do justice to the staff community we would consider that JAC was disbanded. Consequently, we had formed Navodaya Pension Forum for the furtherance of the cause.

I had suggested that we should convene a CEC meeting for formulation of strategies regarding pension or other matters. You have taken part in this so called JAC meeting without the knowledge of the CEC. It is against the spirit of the working of an Association. More over it was on the strength of the Secretary; Dept of Education the indefinite strike was called off. A meeting with the commissioner other than discussing the progress of the pension issue from that point is irrelevant and futile.

Perhaps other people want to continue as leaders of their respective Association by giving false promises to the staff. That is not our idea at all. We have no intention of deceiving anybody. We are not cringing before the top brass of NVS. We work on the strength of the staff community for their benefit .Not for any body’s ulterior motive. It is in this spirit that the AINVSA has registered a case with Division Bench of CAT Kerala regarding CCS Pension for NVS staff. The Association also plans to file yet another case regarding the Duty hours & the flawed Transfer policy of the staff of NVS.

It is in these areas that your focus and conviction should have been there. Unfortunately , your priorities have gone wrong & gone astray.

Hence you have the responsibility of explaining you participation in the meeting held under the guise of JAC. We cannot share platform with people who are not righteous in their purpose. Nor can we consider that there any other group of people who can legitimately claim the banner and registration of AINVSA.
