J.A.C CALLS OFF THE INDEFINTE STRIKE

                Sub:- Indefinite strike called off – reg

                We here by inform to all the members of staff of NVS that the following members of JAC held detailed discussions for about thirty five (35) minutes with Shri Shashi Tharur, Hon’ble MOS,HRD in Shasthri bhavan, New Delhi, today the 15.02.2013. Following the positive approach exhibited by the hon’ble minister on all outstanding issues including CCS 1972 pension, we have decided too call off the indefinite strike with immediate effect. All the staff of NVS will resume normal duties from 16.02.2013. The following members have attended the meeting from JAC side

Shri Nagesh Singh Joint Secretary MHRD and Shri GS Bothyal Hon’ble commissioner NVS , were also present at the meeting. Further, the Hon’ble commissioner NVS , has kindly agreed to revoke all the suspension orders and transfer orders issued so far, after the commencement of the indefinite strike. He has also assured to consider the period of strike from 06.02.13 till date, positively.

In the same context we congratulate all the members of staff of NVS irrespective of cadre / class, who have participated in the strike, despite several hard ships faced by them, including threats of disciplinary action from the authorities. We are very proud of the unprecedented unity and solidarity exhibited by the staff for the last ten days, despite some acts of treachery resorted to by certain selfish elements. We shall continue to wage struggles in the coming days, for the actualization and realization of our genuine and legitimate demands, in the days to come. We can’t forget the indomitable will and strength exhibited by the staff towards achievement of our objectives. We also place on record our gratitude for the solidarity extended to us by the other service associations, parents, alumni etc.

We look forward to receiving continued co-operation from all the members of staff for the days to come.
