Details of the discussion of Additional Secretary of MHRD with Association leaders on 09.02.2013

Dear friends,

The discussion Mrs. Vrinda Sarup (Additional Secretary of MHRD) had with the representatives of the various Associations on 09.02.2013 at Sastri Bavan, since 1 PM to 7 PM ,employees on strike proved ineffective making any decisions.

Mrs. Vrinda Sarup (Additional Secretary of MHRD informed the leaders that a Cabinet Note will be prepared and get approved by Hon’ble Finance Minister through Hon’ble Minister of HRD for favorable steps in terms of CCS pension Scheme Rule 1972 within 15 days.

After the discussion ,she also assured that the second demand , 10% special allowance for nonteaching staff may  be implemented  in the month of June 2013  with the consultation of the  of the higher officials  of MHRD

     Additional Secretary also suggested that the various demands put forward for discussion also be implemented step by step, for that different committees will be formed with one JC of NVS as chairman and Principals, teachers and non teaching staff representatives as members

Sixteen staff representatives were invited for the discussion on 09.02.2013. It was quite unfortunate that four of them including Sri. LB Reddy refused to attend the same in spite of their presence in Delhi. It is understood that JAC is not pleased with AINVSA being invited for the discussion.

AINVSA representatives who took part in the discussion were Sri. P K Gupta    (National Organizing secretary of AINVSA) and Sri. Yogadra Sharma (Senior Member of AINVSA). Both of them strongly appealed for the demands of the employees. Also the representatives from Principal forum, NVSEWA, Catering Assistant Association, etc took part actively in the discussion.

In addition to Smt. Vrinda Sarup (Additional Secretary of MHRD ), The Commissioner of NVS, Shri. Alok Varma (Secretary, NCERT), Sri MS Khanna (JC, NVS), Shri PK Sharma (DC, NVS Hd qtr), Shri DC. Varma(DC, NVS, Hd Qtr), Shri. Pawa (AC NVS Hd Qtr)   also took part in the 6hrs. long meeting.

The  Additional Secretary of MHRD ),then  sent letter to the members who did not take part in the discussion on 9.02.2013 to meet her on 11.02.2013.
