Lr.No.JAC/2012-13/2 Date:
30-12.212
To
The Hon’ble Commissioner,
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti,
Noida, Gautham Budh
Nagar,U.P.
Respected sir,
Sub: Postponement
of Mass Casual Leave to 24-01-13 from 17-01-13.Request, Regarding.
Following its MASS DHARNA at the
NVS headquarters protesting against the indifferent attitude of the Samiti
towards the problems of the employees, the Joint Action Committee has decided
to intensify its agitation further and given a call for MASS CASUAL LEAVE on
17-01-2013.
The JAC has
reviewed and revised its decision and decided to postpone the agitation to
24-01-2013.
The JAC appeals to you once again
to shed the indifferent attitude towards the long-pending problems of the
employees by initiating a democratic discussion and give the employees the
honour that it due. The NCF 2005 document makes it clear for all as to how
important it is for administrators to listen to the teachers working at the
grass root level and help democratic value seep through its system. The NVS hasn’t set a good example over the
years by totally disregarding its employees voice in decision making. Now it is
high time to listen to them. The Samiti fails to realise that its silence will
only aggravate the problems and adversely affect its reputation as a premier
educational institution.
The JAC once again would like to
make it clear that it has been compelled to intensify the struggle as the
Samiti is unjustifiably deaf to the genuine problems and the small measures it
has taken so far are only eyewash.
Thanking you sir,
Yours sincerely,
JAC CENTRAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE:
