Station Co-ordinators for mobilising staff towards JAC meeting at PUNE

              !THE NAVODAYA JOINT ACTION COMMITTEE (J.A.C) REBORN !


The major decisions  taken at the meeting of J.AC. conducted at Delhi on 19 August,2012 are as below:.

1.      A Central Executive Committee  (CEC)  of JAC was formed with President and Secretary of all the five associations 
2.      It was further decided to form a 40 member National Council of JAC by taking one member of each association  from all the 8 regions  (8.5)
3.     The  members of the National  Council will be nominated by the respective associations. This NC should mobilise the  regions under their jurisdiction.
4.      The demands wil include 1972 pension  as the first one and few other demands will also be include as suggested by CEC
5.     The letter of demands will be submitted to the authorities concerned  immediately  stating that  if the same is not considered before 2nd oct employees will go for a direct action .
6.     All the associations have decided  to stand together  for the common good of the employees of NVS

In this connection   in order to revamp  the  same and to mobilise the regions  it is proposed to hold a meeting of PUNE region on 9th September 2012  at Pune.

You are requested to invite the representatives of all the associations from each Vidyalaya  and to make the meeting a grand success .Kindly present your views also in the deliberations.


The following members  of Gujarat are requested to take over the responsibility of mobilization of the staff and bring at least four members from their respective Vidyalayas for the JAC meeting to be organsied at Pune on 9th Sept,2012


They are hereby conferred the powers to act as Station co-ordinators from ‘AINVSA Gujarat  unit’ for the said meeting, mutatis mutandis.

All India Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Pension Seekers Forum


 First Meeting of "All India Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Pension Seekers Forum" held at JNV Tapi( SURAT),Gujarat: a single agenda of OLD PENSION, (GOI 1972: GPF cum Pension Scheme)


 A Navodaya Vidyalaya Pension Seekers’ Forum meeting was held, at JNV Tapi,Vyara on 30 August,2012 in the forenoon . The meeting commenced with welcoming of the guests  and participants by the Venue Principal Sh. K. Sanjay. He introduced the agenda of the meeting; that the meeting was conducted to bring all Service Associations under one umbrella , to strive to get the Old Pension Scheme GOI 1972. That various Organisations established after Navodayas were getting G.P.F cum Pension Scheme, but why not Navodaya?. That every Navodaya Employee should strive  to make the Forum stronger and fight unitedly for the Old Pension instead of the New Pension Scheme.

The other dignatories and office bearers present in the meeting were Sh.S.N.Rane, Principal of JNV Dangh, Sh.M.K.Singh, C.E.C member AINVSA, Sh. Chaware, Vice Principal, JNV Tapi, Sh. S.S.Nair, Gen.Secretary, AINVSA Gujarat Unit, Sh. G.G.Parmar, Ex-Vice President. AINVSA Gujarat Unit and the like. The members of NVSEWA, Catering Association, Staff Nurse Associations, were also present in the meeting. The members from far off  Navodaya Vidyalayas of Porbander, Patan, Beed, Solapur, Gadchroli, Vadodara, Navsari, Dhule, Dang, Kheda, Panchmahal attended the meeting and spoke on the issue.

Orators such as Sh. M.K.Singh ,Sh.S.S.Nair, motivated the staff to attend such meetings in future , as well. The meeting ended with a Vote of Thanks by the Vice Principal of JNV Tapi Sh. Chaware. The meeting was a grand succeess. All  felt the necessity  of filing an SLP by the this forum to get the old pension for the staff.

MINUTES OF THE JOINT ACTION COMMITTEE (JAC)OF ALL THE SERVICE ASSOCIATIONS OF NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA SAMITI HELD ON 19/08/2012(SUNDAY)
The JAC meeting of All Service Associations of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti , is convened on 19/08/2012((Sunday) at Radha Krishna mandir, Amar colony, New Delhi, for reviewing and formulating the activities of  JAC.

At the outset Sri J.K.Singh , General Secretary ,AINVSA , welcomed the gathering. He has enumerated the purpose of convening the meeting in a detailed manner. He informed that the meeting was organized in consultation with all the  Member Associations of NVS, for discussing at length the ongoing activities and action plan to be worked out in regard to the burning issues of the employees of the Samiti.
Sri L.B.Reddy,General Secretary, AINVSA,felt that we have to build up pressure on the NVS administration for solving the day to day problems faced by the employees in a sustained manner and to solve the burning problems like CCS pension and 10%special allowance to non-teaching staff in a right spirit. He further stated that unless we are united in our approach to the problems, we are not sure of succeeding in our efforts.
Sri Raj Kumar Radi,General secretary,NVSEWA,also expressed his views for the strengthening of the struggle for achieving the CCS pension and 10%special allowance to non-teaching staff.
Sri V.Bala Subramanian , President of the Principals forum ,expressed his solidarity with other Associations of the Samiti,in the fight for the achievement of legitimate demands of the staff.
Sri. Vijay Kumar,President,Catering assistants and Mess Workers Association has opined that the only way to finding solution to our genuine demands CCS pension 10%special allowance to non-teaching staff is to wage relentless fight with the administration and to put up an united stand.
Sri N.K.Pawa , expressed his solidarity with the fighting staff of Navaodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

      Associations is constituted as follows..

II. The above committee is authorized to formulate the charter of demands of the staff of NVS, submit to the   
     Competent Authorities and to deliberate on the same.

III. The charter of demands of the staff will be submitted to the NVS in the first week of September 2012.
IV. To prepare the staff of NVS for direct action in the month of October 2012, in the event of non-solution to
       our legitimate demands,The exact date will be intimated in due course  of time.

V. The National Council of JAC will be formed with 40 members, duly providing equal representation of 8     
        members each for the 5 Asscociations@one member from each region representing each Association.

VI. Shri.L.B.Reddy, Shri Raj Kumar Raddi and Shri. J.K.Singh will make all the correspondence jointly.
