Dear friends,
The working
conditions of the teaching staff in JNVs have been rigorous over the years. The
staff have been working between 5 am to 10 30 pm an all days, put on duties on
second Saturday , Sundays and all Govt holidays
.
The issue was
brought to the notice to our JC (Admn.), NVS, HQ, New Delhi . On one side the official version
of NVS under RTI act states that the working hours of teaching staff is from
7.15 am to 1.40 pm and on the other
hand, NVS has remained a mute spectator to the additional duties given by the
Principals of every JNVs to its staff beyond the specified duty hours.
It
is high time , we approach the Court and file a case regarding the matter. Hence it is
requested that the following information may be sent immediately..
i)
Duty chart including early morning Duty, Night duty,
MOD duty, A/N & Evening supervised study
duties, Sunday duties, Holiday
duties and any other duties.
ii) Any
Memorandum / advisory note received by any staff in respect of the
non-compliance to the above duty schedule.
This may be
considered as an urgent matter & hence the documents mentioned above may be
sent at the earliest. The documents should be sent to Shri.J.K.Singh,General

Dear Sir, I read about Mani's struggle in this column. Last year I also worked at jnv 'd ..' but there also laboured us too much like any majdoor or gulaam and always threatened to remove from contract job even many contract teachers had been fired by our principals. In this year also i m working one of d jnv vidyalaya. We teachers on contract are for majdoori or only behave like ox. Plz sir, do something last year we worked from early morning 5.00 to at night 11.00. Even many of us compelled to do the duty of nightwatchman even though he worked in day time. We d contract basis teachers hereby requesting to u help us or we will start suicide by dual dilemma of job or no job which is depend only on principal of concerned jnv school
Dear Sir I here by sending my duty chart for whole year which is fix and no change evev any national holiday may or sunday or anything else . Our regular schedulr start from 7.00 a.m. Then i have continuous 2,3,5,6,8th period. And arrangement period atleast one. I teach to the classes 9th, a/b 11a/b 12th 7th 8th. Throughout d year time table will not change. Even for d year my superwisw study and others remidial studies are compulsory and fixed ni change . Every saturday at 3.00 o clock under d name of cultural activities all teachers (including superwise study teachers also) . At night class tenth and twelve must do study upto ten and for two days one subject teacher sit in school classroom. Even any teachers cant alternate timetable for any imergency. Sir onevert sunday from ten to one thirty in morning study duty of all teachers is compulsory. Sir in this crises our one of the teachers arguec with principal bug he was fired from job because he was on contract. Sir we r from contract is it right to do such a vast duties and takeinsultious and humiliated treatment from principal without any fault. Its nothing but life imprisonment for accepting holy teaching in jnv. Plz sir save our future. Sir i will expose my identity with proofs like principals humiliating speeches our time table chart and all other things but u plz take security of my job. Yours one unjustified colluge.

I,M.Krishna Reddy working as Librarian at JNV,Krishna District from july 5,2010 prior to that I worked at JNV,Medak and Vizianagaram AP.Here I would like to bring to your kind notice that my present Principal Mr.Mallikarjuna Babu asked me in writing to keep open the Libraray 3pm to 4pm on all working days and sundays and holidays apart from instructional hours.Later that was changed and one more office order was served to me to keep open the
library between 2.30pm to 4pm on all working days.Same was brought to the notice of AC when he came for panel inspection and the time table was changed and given the holidays duties at par with other teachers.ButMy principal is harrassing me in different angles by instigating students and parents against me and playing blame game.My ppl marked CL on Public Holiday even after taking his permission for availment.This was also taken to the notice of AC but that was not rectified so far.My ppl run the school even on some public holidays.this vidyaya is running like a private estate.There are lot more to say about this vidyalaya.With this one can understand the despotic atmosphere prevailing on the campus.If u need both the office orders i will send to u.Thnk u.
as per RTE 10 point rules there is no extra work to teachers. But in jnv, teachers are recognized only for their extra duties. the most of the qualified and expert teachers are being harassed, by putting duties like housemastership(warden), evening and night supervise studies.they dont want educators but watchmans for students. we do something on the basis of RTE.
even there are working hours for a "Majoor" in INDIA Except the teachers of JNV. Sir do somthing we are ready to contribute money for any legal proceeding.

It is really high time. Principal's of JNV have put on a mask of self declared dictators. We have been doing round the clock duties, but these principals don't want to adjust any timing for the convince of the teachers. Recently i become late 2 go to vidyalaya before assembly but i worked full day after a weak principal deducted my two days salary for coming to vidyalaya late, if 5 or 10 minutes late this is the fine. Then where is the reward for working round the clock.
