JNV Foundation - a new Venture by Ex JNV Students

Dear All,
I would like to request you to kindly share this information with all the 12th passout JNV students of 2015. This step will create another historical benchmark in the promotion of Higher Education Endeavors of The JNV Foundation. Please share this news on social media for the benefit of talented navodains who are not able to continue their education because of financial constraints.
On behalf of JNV Foundation I met Prof. Rudrangshu Mukherjee who is the Vice-Chancellor of Ashoka University. When I explained him about mission of JNV Foundation and the talented pool of students studying in different JNVs across the country, he very happily agreed to provide full-scholarship to any navodaya student getting admitted into Ashoka University through JNV Foundation. Shortly, We will have a 10 member delegation team representing JNV Foundation visiting Ashoka University.
Please ask all your juniors who have passed 12th this year to apply at Ashoka University which is an International University in India with several prestigious world level facilities. For details:http://www.ashoka.edu.in/
Vice-Chancellor Prof Mukhargee is a renowned Historian and Editor at ‘The Telegraph’ and Vice-Chancellor, Ashoka University. He is studied from JNU and Oxford. Read here morehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudrangshu_Mukherjee

JNV Foundation Volunteers and Office Bearers

Respected Sir/ Madam,
This is Vineet Kumar Goswami from JNV Buklana, Bulandshahr, U.P. I am from 1986- 1993 pass out (12th) batch. Recently, I was on a 4 day tour to JNV Srikakulam and JNV Visakhapatnam, both JNVs are in Andhra Pradesh. I was fortunate to met Ddeputy Commissioner (NVS Hydrabad region) and have visited AC/ DC/ JC and Commissioner at NVS HQ Delhi to establish a national level body with the following broad objective, to which samiti is supporting us to its best: A national level body (JNV Foundation) with decentrilized power which will not only help JNVians in building their career and shaping their future after leaving JNV to secure professional success and respectable position in society but it will also serve as a mentor non gorvenment organization for all JNVian like NVS to Navodayas. Further, I believe that if a teacher is not happy than he can't deliver 100% to the best of his capacities to students and thus his qualities can't be transformed into results. Therefore, this organization will also serve for the overall improvement of Navodayas by adopting a holistic approach for the welfare of Navodian community including its teachers and their kids (limited to two kids per teacher only). Furthermore, JNV Foundation will promote all JNVs to establish their respective Alumni Associations and it will facilitate all JNV alumni assiciations to undertake student welfare activities in their respective JNV through its various schemes and programs. All JNV alumni associations would automatically be the member of this society. JNV foundation will have equal representations from all the regions all over India. Like north, south, east, west and central India. Structural body will have time ward tenure and a fair and democratic election process would be adopted and it will comprise, one Chairman/ President and VP in all regional zones, one secretary, one treasurer, and one executive committee, one financial committee and one review committee. And one regional committee for each region. All post will be filled from among the JNVians. It would be the oganization by the JNVians for the welfare of JNVians only. Your suggestions are invited. One more thing, it will be non profitable organization where no honorarium would be paid to any of the office bearers but before taking oath of office, all office bearers will have to promise a commitment amount of money according to their post and designations which either they have to raise by donations or they have to pay from their own pockets. This will promote the motto of selfless service and will also help in raising funds. You and other guys in your contact those who wish to join us in this mission please contact me.
