Recognition of staff associations of Navodaya Vidyalayas

Will the Minister of HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT be pleased to satate :-
(a) whether the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has adopted any time-frame to accord recognition to staff associations, as per rules;

(b) whether teaching and non-teaching employees have submitted their authorization letters to Drawing and Disbursing officers i.e. Principals and Deputy Commissioners;

(c) how many staff associations have submitted their membership, as per ‘check off system’ of Central Civil Services (Recognition of Service Association) Rules, 1993; and

(d) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) No, Sir.

(b) to (d) As per the guidelines issued by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), the Service Associations which fulfill the conditions stipulated in the Central Civil Services (Recognition of Service Association) Rules, 1993 are required to submit their applications alongwith necessary documents to the Regional Offices of the Samiti for scrutiny and verification of membership by check off system. Complete proposals alongwith required documents for recognition have not been received by NVS Headquarters after completion of verification procedure by the Regional Offices.
